A Total Lunar Eclipse or Blood Moon - My Reply to The Blood Moon and the Rapture comment!

"Fair Use for Information & Educational Purposes"

I received a comment/ question in regards to the Blood Moon, etc. and the Rapture. Thank you for your comment, and for your patience in my replying to your question.

Firstly, the best answer I can give about when the Blood Moon occurs, etc., is at this web site link below:

A Total Lunar Eclipse or Blood Moon

Secondly, God can Rapture His bride, on any day, or hour He has planned to do so.
We can speculate, however, God knows the "exact day and hour", however, we know it is closer
than ever before, because we have been watching end time prophecy coming to pass, with many
confirmations in our daily news reports witness to these facts in print, and in the television, radio and internet media.

Some people call the Red Moon a Harvest Moon, so yes, it is possible that the Rapture could
occur on a Blood Moon, for it would be the harvest of Jesus' Bride taken to Heaven and sudden
destruction could fall on the very same day.

Since the Pre Tribulation Rapture is the only Rapture that is "imminent", therefore, God's
perfect timing, may not be the timing we're thinking of, or have come to believe it has to happen
on a certain day. God's works in mysterious ways and His thoughts are higher.  I believe the Rapture will take place on a day and hour, "when we are not expecting it to happen".  For when we least expect it Jesus will most likely come.  This is just one of the reasons we are commanded to watch for the Lord's Coming in the clouds.  Another reason is, there is a special crown awaiting, up in Heaven for each one who is watching, longing, and loving the Lord's coming to lay before the Lord's feet, in thanksgiving for all Jesus has done for us.

Jesus commandant us to watch, so that we wouldn't be caught unaware, at the timing of His coming. Therefore, for those who have been watching, we know the Rapture is near even at the doors!  Keep watching, Jesus is Coming!

Maranatha!

My Near Death Experience at Age 16

My NDE

Although my experience was shorter than others spoke about theirs, it was extraordinary.

I was not yet saved, by standards of being born again. I got saved in my early twenties. To make a long story short, as I have shared this before. I went to have major back surgery, a spinal fusion, which would last almost 9 hours. The only thing is because of the length of time some how the anesthetist  didn't give me enough anesthetic, or failed to keep an eye on me when it should have been given again. I woke up during the surgery in excruciating pain! The next thing I knew there was this sudden jolt, and I left through the top of my head, later upon my return, I entered back through my chest. Immediately, found myself, at the ceiling of the operating room.  I saw my back was wide open and ribs  seemed spread apart and standing in a more upright position.  Apparently my heart had stopped beating, and there seemed nervous excitement between the doctors!

Here, I was dead and I was watching from the ceiling of the operating room 3 doctors & one nurse in as state of panic. I was hovering at the ceiling above them.  One Doctor was an anesthesiologist and the other two were operating on me.   I saw Dr. Wright, the specialist, calling my name, come on now can you hear me, come back, work with me; as he turned saying to the other doctor & the anesthesiologist doctor; "I never lost a patient that young before". I saw Dr. Wright put his hands inside the open portion of the body trying to massage the heart trying to start it again. I was lying on my stomach with my head turned to one side!

My vision zoomed in and saw my body lying on the table, and I tried to get their attention to leave me be I was alright now. I wasn't hurting, I had no more pain. They couldn't hear me, yet I heard everything they said and saw what they were doing.

The next thing I knew I was worried about my mother who was in the waiting room, almost instantly I left  immediately, was there, to see if she was alright. I saw her sitting in a chair, wiping away her tears, and heard her praying for me. My two younger brothers were waiting there with her. I tried to get their attention to let my mother know I was alright now, but no one saw or heard me.

Then I felt myself back in the operating room as I lay just half way between the room above my body, but instead of going back into the body, I found myself being pulled, travelling at lighting speed through this dark tunnel.   I now feel that this tunnel is associate with the valley shadow of death now ,I could hear people's voices but I couldn't see them.

Travelling through the tunnel I got a quick view of outer space, as I sped through the tunnel, passing, planets, stars, all these extraordinary shapes and colors, until the end.

When I reached the end of the tunnel my body was already standing upright, and this beautiful bright brilliant white light was shinning and standing in front of me, as I was coming closer to it. The Light didn’t hurt my eyes at all, I saw an outline figure of a man in it light. Immediately, I knew the Light was Jesus. My heart was overjoyed, and  I felt more alive then I did in this life here on Earth.  The Earthly life seemed like a dream instead and the Near death experience felt like reality.  I felt more alive than ever before, and the feeling was extraordinary to say the least, I didn't want it to end.

Everything the Lord spoke to me was from His mind to my mind communication. I could hear the Lord speak from His thoughts, and in turn He heard my thoughts out loud too.

Jesus told me all that I would have to go back to my body because I still have to go through many things here on Earth!   I was not ready to go to Heaven.  He also told me what He wanted me to do. The Lord said I wouldn't remember everything when I got back to Earth, but he would bring back to mind the work I still needed to do for Him.  Now, I understand, it was for my good
to return to my body, as I knew about Jesus, but had not heard about accepting Jesus, as my Lord and Savior.  For Jesus said "You must be born again" in order to enter in to God's kingdom for eternity.  Plus, the works the Lord would do through me, would also bring others who would other wise miss going to Heaven, because they too had NOT heard the Gospel or Good News, and had not been born again; like my own parents at the time.  God loves the sinner, but hates the sin, and He longs that none should perish, but that everyone would be saved.
I did get a glimpse of Heaven's beauty. Then I remember when Jesus, the brilliant white light engulfing me, with an embrace, as Jesus held me, I didn't want the Lord to let me go; Jesus' love is indescribable beyond anything anyone can experience on this earth. You can't contain it; it's awesome! Jesus told me that I would be back home(heaven), one day, however, right now I had to return back to my body.   It sadden me but Jesus reminded me my Mother still needed me, along with my brothers.

The worst part of it all, was leaving Jesus, and the second was the big jolt in my chest, as my soul, my spirit returned back into my body.

The Lord knew I still had to be saved, and I received His Holy Spirit Baptism too.
Jesus does love the sinner, and willing gave His precious life for all sinners.  So that whosoever, calls on the name of the Lord, would be saved.  It is by grace, we are saved, Jesus paid the price in full for each one of us.  He died for me and you; will you make Jesus your Lord and Savior and live for Him, today!

Because my Jesus lives, I can face tomorrow...and you'll be able too!

I know that my Jesus lives, and so will I eternally be with our Lord and Savior Jesus, the Son of God!

Blessings!

Valerie

Attacking God’s Word - "Fair Use for Information & Educational Purposes"

Attacking God’s Word
By Grant Phillips

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight.” Isaiah 5:20-21 (NIV)

It is alarming to see, on a daily basis, the comments from people that are in direct conflict with what God says in His Word, the Bible. These comments can be read in newspapers, magazines, and web sites by the multiplied dozens. For example, when reading comments from people on social media sites, I am stupefied by what comes from the minds of ordinary folks. I ask myself, “Do they really think that? What is wrong?”

People who are not homosexual will still defend the sin of homosexuality. Those who give birth instead of opting for an abortion will yet defend the so called right of others to abort (murder) their children from the womb of the mother. Those who have no desire to be the opposite sex will still defend and applaud the “bravery” of those who go for a “sex change.”

These are only three examples of hundreds of sins that we as a society accept as normal and none of God’s business. Many in society now don’t bother with saying it is none of God’s business. That was yesterday. Today, they have taken a new route of approval. They insist that God is in complete approval of their actions, and the rest of us are just cold hearted and need to shut up and wise up.

People I know, who I would have never dreamed, who are kindred, go along with the tripe that society is spewing out every single day. Many are faithful church attenders.
All this reminded me of Satan’s temptation of Eve. Adam and Eve were good people. Think about it. They didn’t hang out at the local saloon. There weren’t any saloons. The world was perfect. They had no sin. They were in perfect agreement with God’s Word up to that point. They didn’t call evil good and good evil. They didn’t choose darkness for light and light for darkness. They didn’t put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. They were not the neighbors from hell. They were really good people, but then something happened. Eve was deceived because she listened to Satan.

Society today is doing the same thing that Eve did in the Garden of Eden. We are listening to Satan, but we are not like Eve; that is, without sin. We are full of sin, and we joyfully want to hear what he has to say because he is saying what we want to hear.
“For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.” 2 Timothy 4:3-4 (NIV)

The conversation between Satan and Eve is found in Genesis three beginning at verse one.
“Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’” “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.” Genesis 3:1-7 (NIV)

Satan has gone fishing. First, he baits the hook and casts the line out into the water. The fish is attracted by the bait and takes a nibble. At the right time, the fish is hooked. Once it is reeled in, it becomes dinner. Let’s see how this happened.
Satan’s ultimate goal is to get Eve to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. So he baits the hook.

Satan: Has God said you can’t eat of any tree in the garden?

Eve: God said we can eat of any tree except the one in the middle of the garden. We can’t even touch it, or we’ll die.

Now he has her thinking about it. The hook has been baited. The line has been cast. So he comes back with;

Satan: Oh, you won’t die! Look at it! It’s beautiful, and I’ll bet it is delicious!

Eve: It sure looks good and yummy. It won’t hurt to just taste it (nibble).
Satan sets the hook and reels her in.

Eve: Uh Oh! I don’t feel right. Why, I’m naked! I can’t walk around like this in public, knowing I’m the only one buck naked! Oh Adam!  Sweetie! Taste this.

Adam: “Yes Dear.”

Satan first caused doubt. Then he introduced desire. Then desire led to denial of the truth. Then participation with sin caused death.

God didn’t say they could not touch the fruit of the tree. (By the way, the Bible says absolutely nothing about the fruit being an apple. We don’t know what it was.) It is not a sin to be tempted. Apparently, they could look at it and touch it. He told them to not eat of the fruit. Eating the fruit was sin because it was rebellion against God’s Word.

We today are falling under the same hypnotic spell that Eve was pulled into by Satan. We first question God’s Word. We add our two cents to it. Finally, the fruit of sin is so desirable; we simply reject what He has to say since it interferes with our desires. We ignore the Word because it convicts us. Out of sight, out of mind.

Let us go back to Satan and Eve’s conversation and notice one more thing. Look in verse five. Satan tells Eve that their eyes will be opened and they will be like God, knowing good and evil. There is the crux of the problem.

We today do not want anyone telling us what we can or cannot do. We want to be our own god. We think we are gods, knowing good and evil. We think we know more than God and He, if He actually exists, is so full of love, He would never really do anything anyway. He just cries and smiles all the time and we can deal with that.

Folks, that is exactly what we as a society think about God today and we are on a fast track to judgment. Consider Psalm 14:1-4. (NIV)
“The fool says in his heart, “”There is no God.” They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good. The Lord looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God. All have turned away, all have become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one. Do all these evildoers know nothing?”

Consider Romans 3:10-18. (NIV)
As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.” “Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit.” “The poison of vipers is on their lips.” “Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.” “Their feet are swift to shed blood; ruin and misery mark their ways, and the way of peace they do not know.” “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”

Consider Galatians 6:7-8. (NIV)
“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.”
I have been told that I need to speak more about love and less about judgment. I replied that I have often spoken about love, but there also comes a time we need to know that judgment is coming.

God has been removed from every facet of our society. We have clearly stated by our actions that we want nothing to do with God and what He has to say. God has spoken very clearly in His Bible, His Word, what He expects of mankind. There are no gray areas. We have the attitude that since we live in the 21st century, we are the brightest of the brightest and all those who lived before us are idiots. We know everything. We don’t need God in our lives. We are our own god. We call the shots.

Our society has taken everything God has stated positively and made it a negative. We have taken everything God has stated negatively and made it a positive. We have made such a mess of this planet, only God can fix it, and that He will.

We may attack His Word all we want, but He will have the last say. The few Christians in this world who still listen to God will face more and more persecution. How much before He comes for His Church, the bride? I don’t know, but let us be faithful. Already, we are the laughing stock in our society. As I said earlier, even those who I didn’t think would entertain perverted worldly beliefs have fallen hook, line and sinker for Satan’s lies.
The United States of America is no longer a Christian nation. It is now a perverted cesspool of debauchery. We are a nation of idolatrous heathen much like Sodom and Gomorrah of old. The people of Noah’s day have nothing on us when it comes to sin. We are very familiar with it, and we love it. We live like the devil and claim it is from God. We accept the lies of Satan as truth, and call the Truth of God a lie. He will not be mocked. His Word will stand.

We have attacked God’s Word. Therefore He has given us up to sinful desires (Romans 1:24-25). We have attacked His veracity. Therefore God has given us up to shameful lusts (Romans 1:26-27). We have rejected God, and He has given us up to depraved minds. (Romans 1:28-32)

The love of God is so great (John 3:16) that even though we are His enemies, He will forgive any who come to Him with a repentant heart through His Son Jesus. By His grace He will give us what we do not deserve and withhold from us what we do deserve. However, His justice cannot be ignored. Our rejection will leave Him no choice but to give us what we deserve and withhold from us what we do not deserve.
To attack God, as we are doing, and make a mockery of His Word is begging for the wrath of God to come down upon us. It is coming for those who refuse to repent. When the Tribulation period does arrive, the world will experience the full wrath of Almighty God. Some will love Him, repent and die for Him, while others will curse Him as they feel the smothering weight of His justice. One thing is certain; the world will then know that God is not some old white-haired man in the sky that winks at evil.
There is one God, and it is not us. We can’t just do as we please and mock God. He will have the last say whether we like it, or agree with it, or not.

The Coming Rapture - "Fair Use for Information & Educational Purposes"

The Coming Rapture
By Bill Perkins

The Rapture will probably be in September, regardless of the year. Here’s why: According to Leviticus 23, there are seven Jewish Feasts commanded by God to be observed each year. They are:

Feast Name:                Jewish Date               Hebrew
1) Passover                  Nisan 14                      Pesach

                                              (April or May)

2) Unleavened              Nisan 15                      Hag-Ha-Matzot
    Bread

3) Firstfruits                 Starts the day after      Bikkurim
                                      the Sabbath following
                                      Passover.

4) Feast of Weeks       Starts 50 days after     Shavuot

                                     Firstfruits. (May or June)

5) Trumpets                Tishri 1                       Rosh HaShanah

                                               (September or October)

6) Day of Atonement  Tishri 10                      Yom Kippur

7) Tabernacles             Tishri 15                      Succoth

The symbolism of Jesus in the Jewish Feast of Passover has been extensively analyzed by numerous scholars. In a nutshell, Jesus is our Passover Lamb, the Lamb of God. “For indeed Christ our Passover, was sacrificed for us” (1 Corinthians 5:7).
Jesus was slain on the cross on Mt. Moriah. At the same time, the Jews were slaying their Passover lambs (had to be a male lamb without blemish), also on Mt. Moriah, just a few steps away.

There is also symbolism in the other feasts as well. The second feast,Unleavened Bread, is the day after Passover. Jewish days began at 6 PM, so the Feast of Unleavened Bread began in the evening after Passover.“...Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”   (John 1:29b).
Leaven in the Bible is a symbol of sin. The Jews purged their houses of leaven, in conjunction with what the sacrificial lamb had done -- removed sin. This is a picture of what Jesus had done on the cross.: “I am the Bread of life” (John 6:48).

The Feast of Firstfruits was to be celebrated on the Sunday after the Sabbath following Passover: “But now Christ has been raised from the dead,  the first fruits of those who are asleep” (1 Corinthians 15:20)

They celebrated Firstfruits by offering a sheaf of grain to the Lord for His allowing the first harvest. Jesus is called the “first fruits” from the dead.
Fifty days after Firstfruits, the Jews celebrated the Feast of Weeks. Here the Jews offered two loaves of bread, as a second offering to the Lord, but this time they were baked with leaven, which again symbolizes sin:  “Wretched man that I am!” (Romans 7:24).

The two loaves could represent either the Old and New Testament, the wheat and the tares, or the Jews and Gentiles being included in the New Testament Church. The leaven represents sin’s existence in the Church. That’s an understatement!

While the Jews were celebrating the Feast of Weeks, the Holy Spirit came roaring to earth, filling both Jewish and Gentile Believers (Acts 2) at what Christians call “Pentecost.”
The symbolism of Jesus and the Church in the first four spring Jewish feasts is undeniable. The first four major events of the Church Age—Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection, and the coming of the Holy Spirit—all fell exactly  on the days of the Jewish Feasts.

But there is a break between the four spring and the three fall feasts.  The break in the feasts may very well represent the break in God’s plan for the Jews... the Church Age.
If God had the first four major events of the Church Age land exactly on the Jewish Feast days, it is almost a given that the next big Church Age event, the Rapture, will land on the next Jewish Feast in the fall.... whichever year Rapture takes place.

The next feast in order falls in September or October each year. Called Rosh HaShanah; it’s a day of gathering and celebration and the Jews are specifically charged to “blow trumpets.” The blowing of a Ram’s horn was the signal that it was time to gather in Jerusalem.

For this feast, the Jews would blow the shofar for 29 days. Then on the last day there was one more blowing -- three distinct series of 30 blasts each. This was followed by ten final blasts leading up to “The Great Blowing.”This was one last, long blast of the trumpet, proclaiming the beginning of the feast.

“Now in the seventh month, on the first day of the  month, you shall also have a holy convocation; you shall do no laborious work. It will be to you a  day for blowing trumpets”  (Numbers 29:1).
As all who have studied the Rapture know, the Rapture is a day of gathering in the air and should be quite the celebration! The two most famous spine-tingling Rapture verses read
“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed” (1 Corinthians 15:52).
“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first” (1 Thessalonians 4:16).
Therefore, following God’s pattern of having the first four major events of the Church Age land on the first four Jewish feasts, we think the next big event of the Church Age is likely to occur on Rosh Hashanah, regardless of the year! Is that cool or what?

Mid-East Prophecy Update – June 28th, 2015

Watch the beginning of this video to the very end.

In the beginning of the video, The Pastor speaks about what happened this past Friday,
and called it Black Friday. Afterwards he speaks on the legalization of the same sex marriages.

This just happened this past Friday, June 26th.

There were: 3 Islamic Attacks, on 3 different Continents,in 3 hours time.

Could this be a prophetic sign for us, heads up, our redemption draws nigh, Jesus is Coming at the Rapture?

Make your own conclusion, however, I believe, this is important and many could have missed it because they were focused on the Supreme Court Decision on Gay Marriage in 50 U.S. States.  The Pastor has also an excellent message in regards to the prophetic implications of the Supreme Court Legalizing same sex marriage.

Matthew 19:4
Jesus said:4 And He answered and said, "Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE, 5and said, 'FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH '?

Could this all be true? - Our Most popular presentation with over 15,000 views.

Experts decode this powerful prophecy and come to a startling conclusion: there is now scientific evidence that many of these catastrophes could, in fact, be occurring. A star falling from the sky could be one of thousands of rogue asteroids that may be approaching earth. The plague foretold in the Bible could be a deadly strain of avian virus that researchers fear could kill millions. Oceans turning blood red could be triggered by microorganisms that release dangerous neurotoxins that have the same effect as nerve gas.

To reveal the ultimate truth behind the prophecy, this investigation will turn to the past to reveal why the prophecy was written, and why it maintains such a powerful hold on our imagination today.

God’s Gift of Salvation

God’s Gift of Salvation

Everything that God has given to us has been free. Think about it. He has given us life, a place to live, things to enjoy, etc. What have we given to God to receive all these things? Nothing! God created us and gave us all these gifts because He simply wanted someone with whom to share His love.
Sure, mankind has really messed things up. We overcharge each other for things. We demand that others do everything our own way. In fact, we have brought a great many evils into this world.
But God has nothing to do with this. He created each of us with a free will (so we could really share love with Him) and we have misused that free will. But we need to concentrate on what God did for us, not what mankind has tried to change.

As Rebellious as We Are, God Still Loves Us

Remember what the Bible says in Romans 5:8 (NIV): “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” You see, God did not wait for us to come to Him. He did not wait for us to tell Him that we loved Him. No! He took the first step and reached out to us.

How God Reached Out To Us

Exactly how God reached out to us is found in Ephesians 2:8 (NIV) where it says: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” Yes! The key to salvation is grace.
What does “grace” mean? It comes from a Greek word that means “to rejoice, be glad, be delighted.” Thus, grace has its foundation in joy. Whose joy? God’s joy. Even though we have rebelled against Him, God still has joy in His creation. He still delights in us and wants to share His love with us.
Thus, grace means “giving out of the joy of one’s own heart, and not because the one who received it, deserves it. God freely gave salvation to us because He loves us and not because we deserve it. And the greatest truth in this is that we can freely receive this salvation because God freely gives it to us. But many do not receive it because of their pride.

Our Greatest Problem is Pride

We are being destroyed because of our pride. We want recognition for everything we do, We want to be sure that others know what we did. We seem to think that we are better than anyone else. We want people to look up to us.
We even go so far as to think that we know what is best for us. We really don’t need God because we know as much (or even more) than He does. This has led many to even declare that God does not even exist.
But many who do acknowledge that God does exist still believe that they really don’t need Him because they know all they need to know about living. Thus, our pride keeps us from receiving the great gift that God offers us.

Are We Saved Through Our Works?

Many people do acknowledge that this is God’s world and thus we must live good lives in order to live with Him forever in His heaven. However, these people also believe that they already know what they must do to live good lives. Thus, they conclude that all they have to do is to do enough good works and they will have lived a good enough life to get into heaven.
In other words, our pride dictates that we must earn our way into heaven. In other words, we can live in heaven only if we live a good enough life and thus, earn our way into heaven.
It would be foolish if God said that must earn our way into heaven. Because if this were the case, we would be able to say “Look what I did for myself.” “I saved myself.” It would just add to our pride. It would just create more pride and dependence on ourself instead of on God.
If this were true, what would heaven be like? What if heaven were full of all the proud people that our now making our lives miserable? It certainly would not heaven. In fact, it would be no different than the life we are living now.
No. God wants something much better for his children. He wants the best existence possible for us. Remember, He created us. He knows what is best for His creation. He knows what we need in order to receive the best that He has to offer.

God’s Solution

Remember, God created us so that we could share our love with Him and have fellowship with Him. He created us as free creatures. He cannot and will not force us to do anything or to be anything that we do not want to do or be. This would destroy our free will and without free will, we would not be able to share love.
So God has decreed that only those who want to live according to His will can live eternally with Him in His heaven. Yet, living in this sin-filled world, it is extremely difficult to show God that we want to live according to His will.
Thus, in His great love, God made it extremely easy for us to show Him that we want to live according to His will. This truth is revealed in John 3:16 (NKJV) where it says: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
This is all we have to do. Accept the salvation that He offers to us through His Son, Jesus Christ. It is God’s gift to us. We don’t have to do anything except accept His great gift of salvation. But to receive it, we must reach out and accept it.

Gifts Must Be Received

Think about it. If I offer to give you a present, yet you do not reach out and receive it, that is, take it yourself, you will never benefit from the gift I have for you. That is the way it is with God’s gift of salvation. He offers it. But, we have to take a definite step to receive it. We have to do something or it will never become ours.
God offers the gift of salvation to us and He has made it very simple to receive this great gift. We don’t have to do any great works, go through any special type of ritual, or anything like that. We don’t have to change anything in our life. We don’t even have to become a better person first. All we have to do is to be sorry for our rebellion and sin against God and want to start living for and with God.
It is actually accomplished in two very simple steps. The first is to simply accept Jesus Christ as our Savior. It is that simple. We just accept what Jesus did for us on the cross and accept His death as our own death to sin and rebellion.
Secondly, we accept Jesus as the Lord of our Life. This means committing our life to live as Jesus wants us to live. It doesn’t mean that we will live perfect lives. It just means that we are going to do our best to live the life that Jesus wants us to live.
If you have not yet taken this very important and essential step, go to How To Live Forever and learn what you need to do.

Heaven And Hell

Heaven And Hell

Many people do not believe in such a place as Hell. They believe that if God is a loving God, that He would never create such a place, nor would He send anyone there. However, the Bible teaches differently. Listen to the warning that Jesus, Himself, gives us. Matthew 10:28 (NKJV): “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”
And what did Jesus say about those who will not do God’s will? Matthew 25:41 (NKJV): “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels.’” This verse also tells us that Hell was not created for human beings, but for the devil (Satan) and his angels.
As we will see, God does not want His human creation to go to Hell. However, remember, God created us as free creatures, with the ability to choose our own destiny. And our own destiny includes where we will spend eternity. If we choose to follow God and desire in our heart to do God’s will, our destiny will be paradise (heaven). This is why Jesus came, so we could easily make this decision.
However, if we choose to not follow God and desire to live within His will, when we die, our desire will not miraculously change. Thus, the only place to live outside of God’s will and God’s presence is Hell.

Who Is In Charge of Hell?

If Hell is a place where God is not, who will be the reigning authority in Hell. We must remember two things, First Hell was created for Lucifer (Satan) and all the fallen angels who followed him in his rebellion. Secondly, since Satan was the recognized authority of all of these fallen angels (otherwise why did they follow him in his rebellion?) who do you think will be the authority in Hell? Who will be the ruler in Hell? God is not there. The logical one left is Satan, himself.
Satan was originally called Lucifer and was a very powerful angel in God’s presence. In his position of authority over other angels, he began to think that he could actually be a better ruler than God Himself. Some think that this happened after God created the physical earth, while others think that he rebelled before the earth was created. It really doesn’t make any difference when he rebelled. The point is that he rebelled against God and was cast out of God’s presence.
Lucifer’s pride made him think that he could actually be a better ruler than God (Jehovah). So he rebelled against God and tried to take over all that God had created. The amazing thing is that he had such authority over other angels that a third of them followed him in his rebellion.
God could not allow this to happen. If Lucifer was allowed to continue his existence in heaven (paradise), he would ruin paradise for everyone else. So God created Hell to house Lucifer and all the rebellions angels who followed him.

Is Satan And His Demons In Hell Now?

According to what is written in the Bible, they are not yet totally confined in Hell. Satan did appear before God in the book of Job. Also, Satan and his demons are free to roam the earth.
Also, in 1 Peter 5:8 (NKJV) it says: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” Experience also tells us that Satan and his demons are now roaming the earth.
Satan and his demons will eventually be totally confined to their final abode and that is Hell. The book of Revelation explains this to us.

What Is Hell Like?

Remember, God did not create Hell for the purpose of sending human beings there. God created Hell, a place where He is not present, for the purpose of housing the rebellious angels that did not want to live under His authority any more.
So what do you think Hell is like? First of all, we know that it is a place where God is not. Remember God created everything that is good, all light, all beauty, all love, harmony, etc. This all flows from God. What kind of a place will Hell be if God is not there to radiate all these things? Think about it.
Hell is also full of creatures that are angry with God for sending them there. They would like to get revenge on God. How can they do this? They are no longer allowed in God’s presence. They are now restricted to a place where God has removed any of His influence.
So remember, Hell is that place that now inhabited with creatures that have been thrown out of heaven. They have nothing that God created to make their habitation a pleasant one. It is a miserable place to exist. Since we know how creatures that have been rejected react, how do you think that Satan and his fallen demons are going to react? They want revenge against God. But this is impossible since they no longer have access to heaven.

What Will Satan and His Demons Be Doing?

The answer, again, is very simple. They will be miserable. But more than this, Lucifer (Satan) and his fallen angels know that God created the human race. He created the human race so He could have someone to share His great love. Yes, God loves us, as humans.  Yet, multitudes of these humans also reject God and His plan for them.
Since they (humans) have rejected God and his plan for them, there is only one place left for their existence after they leave the earth. They have demonstrated that they do not want to live with God. So, where can they go? The only place left is where God is not, Hell!
While we are here on the earth, we can have power over Satan and his demons through Jesus. All we must do is to call on Jesus and He will defeat any demonic attack against us. When we are filled with the Holy Spirit, the demons see, not a human, but God, himself, because God is living in us. In Hell, you no longer have that option. Remember God is not in Hell. Thus, Satan has complete freedom to do whatever he wants to these lost souls that have rejected God’s plan for their lives.
How can Satan get his revenge against God? He gets it by torturing those who God created to be with Him, but rejected His plan for them. What kind of existence will this be? Think about it. If you reject God and His plan for you while you are on this earth, you will end up in the hands of a creature that hates you because God loves you. Is that what you want?

God Does Not Want You In Hell

Remember, God did not send you to Hell. He does not want you there. You chose to go there by rejecting God and His plan for you while you were here on this physical earth. The truth is that God is heartbroken every time a human being dies a physical death while he continues to reject Him and His plan for them.
No, God does not send anyone to Hell. If you end up there, it is because you have chosen to live apart from God and His plan for you while you are living here on this earth. God has done everything He possibly can do to get you to freely choose Him and His plan for you. Remember, God created you in His image, as a creature that is free to choose your own destiny.
God put you on this earth, where His presence can be seen everywhere you look. He has created a universe that could not possibly have burst into existence on its own. It is Satan that has put this crazy idea in people’s heads that it could have. God created this universe so that if you are truly honest with yourself, you can never believe it just popped into existence on its own.
Stop and think. How could such harmony come out of chaos? How could such amazing beauty come out of nothing? How could such a wonderful creation come out of anything except love? Look around you. Where there is love, there is creation and harmony. Where there is no love there is destruction and disharmony.
Just look at the nations on this earth. Where there is love and harmony, new and wonderful things are always being created. Where there is hate and distrust, there is nothing but destruction and poverty. Where do you really want to live? Do you want to live where there is hate and distrust, or where there is love and harmony?

What Is Heaven Like?

If that is Hell, what heaven is like? Has God not given us very many hints as to what to expect? Yes, the Bible does talk about streets of gold. It also mentions a place where there is no sorrow, no heartache, no sickness, etc. It also mentions that there will be no need of a sun because all the light we need comes directly from God, Himself.
So, what is heaven like? All we can truly know that it is a place that God has prepared for those who love Him, for those that have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. And since God is a loving God and wants to share that love with us, it must be the most wonderful place of love and peace that we can possibly imagine.
The important point to remember is that Heaven is a place of eternal love and caring for each other. It is a place where you will not care about yourself. Why? Because while you are caring for and loving others, others are also caring for and loving you. It is an existence that is more wonderful than you can possible imagine. It is just the opposite of what Hell is.

You Choose Your Own Destiny

God created you and placed you on this physical earth so that you could freely make a choice of where you want to spend eternity.
Yes, Satan freely roams this earth. Why? It is because we, as humans, have given him this freedom. God created this universe and the place we call earth. Then He placed His prize creation on it (the human race). However, we freely rebelled against God and instead chose to do what we wanted to do instead of following God’s will for us. This is the truth behind the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. We turned Satan loose on this earth by wanting to do our own thing instead of allowing God to direct our every path.
So, Satan is alive and well on this earth and we have to put up with him. Or do we? Through Jesus, we have all the authority over Satan that we need. The problem is that many of us have just have not learned to exercise that authority. If we want to defeat Satan and his influence in our lives, all we must do is to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and allow Him to direct our path.

How To Live Forever

How To Live Forever

Yes, I am talking about living for eternity, to live forever. Do you know that you can live for eternity? That you never have to die? That you never have to face the pain of death? I can hear you saying? “This is impossible, no man can live forever. We all have to die.”

The Bible Proves It

But I can prove to you by the Word of God Himself, that it is possible. Listen to what Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Also in I John 5:11, “And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.”
Listen also to what Jesus Himself said in John 5:24, “I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.”

Eternal Life Can Be Yours

I can hear you asking now, “If eternal life is possible, how may I obtain it?” The Bible tells us very simply what we must do to gain eternal life. The first thing that we must do is to admit that we are sinners. I John 1:8 says: “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”
Romans 3:23 says, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Isaiah 59:1 says: “But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.”
But now you ask, “OK so I confess my sins, what good is that going to do?” I John 1:9 says: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
The second thing we must do is to believe in Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9 says: “If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Again, Acts 16:31 says: “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.” Finally, believe that Jesus can and will save you from your sins. I Peter 3:18 says: “For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit.”

Eternal Life Is A Gift From God

And the best part of this is that God is offering this to us as a gift. To gain eternal life, all we have to do is to accept it. Listen to Eph. 2:8, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” In John 14:14 we find the promise that God, through Jesus Christ will give us eternal life. “You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.”

All We Must Do Is Receive

Finally, we must receive Jesus as our Personal Savior. We read in John 1:12, “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” And also in Jude 1:24 where it is talking about Jesus, “Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.”

Don’t Put It Off

Now, I can hear you  saying: “This all sounds very good. I believe all that you have said. I will accept Jesus Christ as my Personal Savior, but not now, I still have plenty of time.” But listen to what Isaiah 55:6 says, “Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.”
Also in II Cor. 6:2, “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” Listen also to Luke 12:40, “You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.”

Are You Ready?

Are you ready to accept Jesus Christ as your Personal Savior right now? I beg you not to put it off any longer. This may be your last chance. You may never get another. Remember, all you have to do are these simple things:
1) Confess that you are a sinner.
2) Believe that Jesus Christ save you from your sins.
3) Ask Jesus to forgive your sins and believe in you heart that He has forgiven them.
4) Receive Jesus Christ as your Personal Savior.
Just say these things in your own words. There is no special way to talk to God.

What To Do Now

After you have accepted Jesus as your Personal Savior, go to a minister of the church of your own choice and show him the decision that you made. The minister will help you to grow in the new life that you have found.
In addition, keep reading this blog. I also have another site called BibleAnswersToday.com where you can find a lot more information about living a Christian life in this modern world.

Jesus – First and Second Coming

Jesus – First and Second Coming

Yes, Jesus is coming twice. His first coming was about 2000 years ago and His second coming is still in our future. His first coming was such an event that even our calendar is based upon it. His second coming will usher in a new event that will change history.

His First Coming Was a Real Event

Almost everyone, even those who do not believe in who Jesus was and is, still believe that He was born on the earth. Even Muslims accept the fact that Jesus was a real person that lived on the earth. This is even true of the Jews, even though they don’t accept Him as their Messiah.
The first coming of Jesus was a very humbling experience for Him. He purposely humbled Himself and made Himself a human servant so that He could taste death for all human beings.

Jesus Left His Divinity In Heaven

Hebrews 2:7 (NIV) says: “You made him a little lower than the angels.” Then verse 9 restates the same fact. Jesus brought Himself down to our level so that He could raise us up to His own level.
Hebrews 2:14 (NIV) says: “Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death–that is, the devil.” Jesus allowed Himself to become fully human so that He could do what we could not do, that is, defeat Satan and his power that he had gained over us.
Jesus then gives us the opportunity to simply accept what He did for us and then accept Him as our Lord and Savior. When we do this, He gives us eternal life, as John 3:16 says. Jesus permitted Himself to be persecuted, rejected, abused, and finally crucified, so He could become “the sin bearer” of God and thus save the world.
Yes, at His first coming, Jesus humbled Himself and became a human, with a body exactly like ours.
By the way, when Jesus arose from the dead, He had a new body. This was not an earthly body, made from the dust of the earth, but rather a heavenly body created in heaven. And guess what? We who have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior will have that same kind of body when we die (or are raptured). 1 Cor. 15:49 (NIV) says: “And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so shall we bear the likeness of the man from heaven.”

Jesus’ Second Coming Will Also Be a Real Event

Yes, just a surely as He came the first time, Jesus will come again. But his time He will come in “power and glory.” Luke 21:27 (NIV): “At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.”
When Jesus ascended into heaven, an angel appeared to those who were watching and said “Acts 1:11 (NIV): “’Men of Galilee,’ they said, ‘why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.’”
This second time He comes as the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Rev. 17:14 (NIV): “They will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings.”
Most people did not recognize Jesus at His first coming. But everyone will be aware of His second coming. Rev. 1:7 (NIV): “Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him.” And again in Jude 1:14 (NIV): “Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men: “See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones.”

Jesus Comes With The Full Power Of His Godhead

God, the Father, has given Jesus the full power of the Godhead. John 5:26-27 (NIV): “For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son to have life in himself. And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man.”
Jesus has the authority over all creation. 1 Peter 3:22 (NIV) says of Jesus: “who has gone into heaven and is at God’s right hand–with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him.”
His first task will be to reap the harvest, that is, to rapture all born-again Christians from the earth. This is the Rapture.
Rev. 14:14-16 (NIV): “I looked, and there before me was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was one ‘like a son of man’ (Jesus) with a crown of gold on his head and a sharp sickle in His hand. Then another angel came out of the temple and called in a loud voice to Him who was sitting on the cloud, ‘Take your sickle and reap, because the time to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.’ So He who was seated on the cloud swung His sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested.”
His second task will be to destroy the evil in the world. Read Rev. 19:11-21. Thus, the dragon (Satan), the false prophet and all whose who followed them will be destroyed.
His third task will be to set up His kingdom on the earth. Rev. 11:15 (NIV): “The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: ‘The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever.’”

Are You Looking Forward To This?

I don’t know when Jesus will come again, either for His Church or to set up His Kingdom here on the earth. But all the signs point to the fact that it is going to be really soon. Be prepared by going to “How To Live Forever” and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

Jesus is the Son of God

Jesus is the Son of God

Many people accept Jesus as a good teacher that lived about 2000 years ago, but they will not accept Him as the Son of God. And yet, that is exactly who the Bible proclaims that Jesus is. If you cannot accept that Jesus was and is the only begotten Son of God, then you have to dismiss Him as even a truthful teacher and He certainly cannot be the Messiah.

The Old Testament Prophecies Proclaims Him To Be God

Isaiah 9:6 (NIV): “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Among other facts, this passage tells us several important facts about Jesus.
1 – “A son is given.” This means that Jesus was not created at His earthly birth, but He existed before He was born on the earth.
2 – He is called “Mighty God.” This is self explanatory. Jesus is God.
3 – He is called “Everlasting Father.” This means that Jesus always has and always will exist.

Jesus Says That the Old Testament Testifies About Him

Remember in John 5:39-40 (NIV) when Jesus was talking to the Jews, He said: “You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life.” Here Jesus is saying that the Old Testament contains passages that bring eternal life because they are passages that testify to who Jesus is.
In other words, throughout the Old Testament, prophecies are given that show that eternal life comes through Jesus. Since eternal life can only come through God, these passages are proclaiming that Jesus is God.

Jesus In The New Testament

Throughout the New Testament, Jesus is proclaimed to be God. This is true both in His own teachings as well as in the teachings of the rest of the New Testament. The most famous is John 3:16.
John 3:16 (NKJV): “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Nothing could be clearer than this. God gave us His only begotten Son. This means that God came to earth in the form of Jesus. Yes, Jesus is God.
Look at the first verse of the Gospel of John. John 1:1 (NIV): “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” All scholars accept the fact that the term “the Word” refers to Jesus. Even the Muslims state this in their Koran. Nothing can be clearer than this statement that Jesus is God.
In Titus, Jesus is called “our great God and Savior.” Titus 2:11-13 (NIV): “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say ‘No’ to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope–the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.”
Throughout the New Testament, the Scriptures proclaim that Jesus is none other than God, Himself.

Jesus Claimed To Be God

Over and over, Jesus taught that He was God. For instance in John 10:30 (NIV): “I and the Father are one.”
He also distinguished between his Father as God and our Father as God. John 20:17 (NIV): “Jesus said, ‘Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
We may not think that Jesus is calling Himself God in these passages (and others), but the Jews that heard Him certainly did. Look at John 5:18 (NIV): “For this reason the Jews tried all the harder to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.”
And again in John 19:7 (NIV): “The Jews insisted, ‘We have a law, and according to that law he must die, because he claimed to be the Son of God.’”
If His contemporaries understood that Jesus was calling Himself God, we need to listen to them and accept what Jesus said about Himself.

Jesus Is One Member Of The Trinity

God reveals Himself to us in a very special way. God is so great that we cannot understand who He is outside of the Trinity. The Trinity is not three Gods, but rather one God who reveals Himself in three parts. Jesus is one of those parts.
This is why Jesus tells us to baptize in the name of the Trinity. Matthew 28:19 (NIV): “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
John 15:26 also illustrates the concept of the Trinity. Jesus said in John 15:26 (NIV): “When the Counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me.” God, the Father sends the Holy Spirit who will testify about Jesus.
We need to understand that the Trinity does not mean that there are three Gods. There is only one God. This is what is proclaimed throughout the Bible, both in the Old Testament and in the New Testament. Remember this very important truth. The Bible does not and will not contradict itself. If one part does not make sense to you, read the rest of the Bible and it will become clear to you.

Jesus Is God

Either He was and is the Son of God, or He was the greatest liar that ever lived. If Jesus is not God, the Bible cannot be trusted to give us the truth about God at all. Either Jesus is God, or we need to discard the whole Bible, because throughout the Bible, Jesus is either prophesied as being God or proclaimed to be God.
