Jesus is the Son of God

Jesus is the Son of God

Many people accept Jesus as a good teacher that lived about 2000 years ago, but they will not accept Him as the Son of God. And yet, that is exactly who the Bible proclaims that Jesus is. If you cannot accept that Jesus was and is the only begotten Son of God, then you have to dismiss Him as even a truthful teacher and He certainly cannot be the Messiah.

The Old Testament Prophecies Proclaims Him To Be God

Isaiah 9:6 (NIV): “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Among other facts, this passage tells us several important facts about Jesus.
1 – “A son is given.” This means that Jesus was not created at His earthly birth, but He existed before He was born on the earth.
2 – He is called “Mighty God.” This is self explanatory. Jesus is God.
3 – He is called “Everlasting Father.” This means that Jesus always has and always will exist.

Jesus Says That the Old Testament Testifies About Him

Remember in John 5:39-40 (NIV) when Jesus was talking to the Jews, He said: “You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life.” Here Jesus is saying that the Old Testament contains passages that bring eternal life because they are passages that testify to who Jesus is.
In other words, throughout the Old Testament, prophecies are given that show that eternal life comes through Jesus. Since eternal life can only come through God, these passages are proclaiming that Jesus is God.

Jesus In The New Testament

Throughout the New Testament, Jesus is proclaimed to be God. This is true both in His own teachings as well as in the teachings of the rest of the New Testament. The most famous is John 3:16.
John 3:16 (NKJV): “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Nothing could be clearer than this. God gave us His only begotten Son. This means that God came to earth in the form of Jesus. Yes, Jesus is God.
Look at the first verse of the Gospel of John. John 1:1 (NIV): “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” All scholars accept the fact that the term “the Word” refers to Jesus. Even the Muslims state this in their Koran. Nothing can be clearer than this statement that Jesus is God.
In Titus, Jesus is called “our great God and Savior.” Titus 2:11-13 (NIV): “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say ‘No’ to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope–the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.”
Throughout the New Testament, the Scriptures proclaim that Jesus is none other than God, Himself.

Jesus Claimed To Be God

Over and over, Jesus taught that He was God. For instance in John 10:30 (NIV): “I and the Father are one.”
He also distinguished between his Father as God and our Father as God. John 20:17 (NIV): “Jesus said, ‘Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
We may not think that Jesus is calling Himself God in these passages (and others), but the Jews that heard Him certainly did. Look at John 5:18 (NIV): “For this reason the Jews tried all the harder to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.”
And again in John 19:7 (NIV): “The Jews insisted, ‘We have a law, and according to that law he must die, because he claimed to be the Son of God.’”
If His contemporaries understood that Jesus was calling Himself God, we need to listen to them and accept what Jesus said about Himself.

Jesus Is One Member Of The Trinity

God reveals Himself to us in a very special way. God is so great that we cannot understand who He is outside of the Trinity. The Trinity is not three Gods, but rather one God who reveals Himself in three parts. Jesus is one of those parts.
This is why Jesus tells us to baptize in the name of the Trinity. Matthew 28:19 (NIV): “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
John 15:26 also illustrates the concept of the Trinity. Jesus said in John 15:26 (NIV): “When the Counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me.” God, the Father sends the Holy Spirit who will testify about Jesus.
We need to understand that the Trinity does not mean that there are three Gods. There is only one God. This is what is proclaimed throughout the Bible, both in the Old Testament and in the New Testament. Remember this very important truth. The Bible does not and will not contradict itself. If one part does not make sense to you, read the rest of the Bible and it will become clear to you.

Jesus Is God

Either He was and is the Son of God, or He was the greatest liar that ever lived. If Jesus is not God, the Bible cannot be trusted to give us the truth about God at all. Either Jesus is God, or we need to discard the whole Bible, because throughout the Bible, Jesus is either prophesied as being God or proclaimed to be God.

Can you consider for one moment that as advised in the Old Testament, mankind was warned against false prophets and idols.

Can you entertain for one moment that as prophesised, the false god will appear as light, perform miracles and speak 'part' truths. Only in this world is murder forgiven. Only in this world do the high churches molest children. Only in this world do we tolerate sin. This is not God's word and has persevered through Christianity, the foundation of most civilizations since they waged persecution in all four corners of the world.

What worries is that the 'Jesus' figure personifies everything we were told not to be seduced by. Idolization, Symbols and Churches. The place of worship should be in our hearts and in our actions...nowhere else.

There is a saying that the truth is mightier than the sword...but Christianity is dripping with bloodshed.

There is a saying that empty vessels make the most sound...but Jesus did a lot of 'trumpet blowing.' He cried wolf a lot!

There is only one God. And that God is not like Jesus, and does not appear like Jesus. He is too high and divine to behave with such showmanship.

Just imagine, if the end of days comes, and you had been worshipping a false god all this time. The one who was cast from heaven for setting himself above the Almighty, and who for generations reincarnated as a false prophet who finally cracked the code of an organised religion that could be as corrupt as the religions of old that God warned against...how would you feel?

Just think about it. Be closer to God and not through Jesus and see if the truth comes to you in the way God intended.

Jesus is blocking you from the true light of God and Word.

When God speaks, you will have the answer.

Jesus is the second person in the Holy Trinity, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.

There is only "One God" in 3 persons. The Father is in the Son, and the Son is in the Father, as is the Holy Spirit.

God is omnipresent, He is everywhere. We can only be present in "person" one place at a time and not everywhere at the very same time, However, with God nothing is impossible, God is present everywhere at the same time..

Only the Son of God, part of the Godhead, could come to Earth, take on human flesh, and at the same time Divine Nature, from God the Father. Only the "Sinless One" could die on the cross for the sins of humanity; Jesus' precious blood, not the blood of lambs, could pay the price in "full" for our sins.

Just imagine, one day, you too will stand before God, and He will say "Anonymous" who has blinded and deceived you in believing a lie, surely it must of been Satan, who was"Lucifer, an angel of :Light". For it was he who was thrown out of Heaven along with the angels who followed him, and become to be know as "Satan" and "his demons". Satan & his demons, roams the Earth looking for who they can destroy and kill. Satan hates man and woman, and longs to destroy as many as he can by rejecting God, and especially, God's free gift of Salvation through Jesus, to whosoever, repents, and receives Jesus as Lord and Savior..will not perish but be saved.

Jesus is the "Light of the World" there is no sin in Him, for there is no sin in God the Father or Holy Spirit. Only the sinless One could pay the price for the sinful world, and that One is Jesus.

Lucifer, was a beautiful Angel of light who fell from Heaven as lightning, because of his pride, he wanted to be "the most high, God" however that position was already filled, by the One True God of Abraham, Issac & Jacob. He was driven out of Heaven along with those angels who followed him, and longs to take as many humans as he can to Hell with him.

Satan longs the fall of humans, and hates those who love "God".

I had a death experience and I met our Lord and Savior Jesus(God), from whom I felt great love, and compassion. His light was brilliant, didn't hurt my eyes. Jesus wanted me to return back to Earth as my job here on Earth wasn't finished as yet. I'm to tell everyone, Jesus is who the Bible says He is; Jesus is the Son of God, Jesus is God, 2nd person in the Godhead.

I love God with all my heart, and I thank God for sending His Son, Jesus to die for our sins, on the cross.

I love Jesus for being obedient to God the Father, and willing dying on the cross for our sins & rising from the grave on the third day. For making a way for us to be reconciled once again with God the Father and open the door to Heaven.

I love the Holy Spirit, whom dwells within me and all those who have received Jesus. The Holy Spirit, comforts and guides me in God's word, and God's ways. I love God for listening to His Son and sending His Holy Spirit. Jesus ascended into Heaven after 40 days. On the 50th day, God sent His Holy Spirit, to dwell within those who had already accepted Jesus, and Baptized them with God's Holy Spirit..

Jesus is the truth, the way, and the life. He is the Light of the World, and Satan has been battling, thousand of years to destroy Christians, and Christianity, so that as few as possible would find the straight and narrow path that leads to Heaven. Satan tried to destroy Jesus when He was just a child, and failed, for God protected His Son, who had come to take away the sins of the world, by shedding His precious Holy Blood, for remission of sins.

What benefits a man or woman if they gain the whole world, but lose their soul.

Jesus, is real, He is who scripture says, and yes He is alive...Come to Jesus, He loves you.

May God always, receive the Glory and Honor which belongs to Him.

      I love Jesus!!!!

      Come Lord Jesus, Come!
